Hardcastle on the Interweb

Hey. I’m Kevin Hardcastle, a fiction writer based in Toronto. I write about violence, heartache, and general mayhem. Some people thought the stuff was good enough to publish. Meggie Macdonald at Transatlantic Literary Agency thought it was good enough for her to try and sell it. Have a look and see if she was right…

I have had short fiction published online at Word Riot. In print in subTerrain Magazine. And in the inaugural issue of Noir Nation, an e-book journal of crime fiction. In January of 2012 I will have a short story published by The Malahat Review, arguably the best literary journal in Canada.

My first novel, ‘Years in the Wild,’ is on offer by Meggie Macdonald at TLA, and I am in the deep water of my second novel right now. Otherwise, I spend my days grinding out rent money and crushing pads at Krudar Muay Thai. Sometimes I drink beer…

Thanks for visiting this site. Give all this stuff a read and maybe tell somebody about it. I appreciate it.
